Psychotherapy for Providers

Confidential, compassionate, boundary-strong care for clinicians and helping professionals

Helping professionals carry a lot—caseloads, crises, documentation, leadership demands, and life outside of work. MOSAIC Family Counseling Center offers confidential, individual psychotherapy for therapists, social workers, physicians, nurses, first responders, educators, case managers, and agency leaders who want to recover from burnout, process vicarious trauma, need support, and wish to strengthen their effectiveness and well-being.

Clarity.

Support.
Renewal.
Resilience.
Boundaries.

Our commitments to confidentiality & ethics

  • We protect your privacy and dignity with the same standards we expect for our own care.

  • We avoid dual roles and conflicts of interest; we discuss boundaries up front.

  • Standard limits to confidentiality (e.g., safety concerns) are reviewed clearly at intake.

  • We are in it together because we 'get it'.

Personalized, trauma-informed care—for providers: No two providers (or practice contexts) are alike. Your therapist will collaborate with you to select—and continually adjust—the right mix of approaches so therapy fits your goals, bandwidth, and role demands. We honor your identity, uphold boundaries and confidentiality, and focus on sustainable capacity, not just symptom relief.

We understand—clinicians are also people with real things going on in their lives, juggling relationships and responsibilities. Making room for yourself here isn’t just okay—it’s essential. We are here to provide a supportive space where you can show up as your full, authentic self, without needing to hold it all together. Therapy isn’t just for your clients—it’s for you, too. We also recognize the unique pressures that come with being a therapist today—navigating complex policies, administrative demands, and the emotional toll of a shifting socio-political landscape. We hold space for all of that, because your wellbeing matters just as much as the care you give

Our approach

To support all the roles you live in, we draw on many modalities and approaches, some of which are listed below.

EMDR
Process vicarious trauma and intrusive case material; reduce reactivity for a calmer nervous system, fewer between-session triggers, and faster return to baseline.

EMDR Intensive Sessions
3-6 hours at a time,
designed for individuals seeking deep, focused trauma healing in a shorter period of time. A few sessions in a row or spaced out to fit your schedule and goals.

Hypnotherapy

Use focused relaxation and guided imagery to interrupt burnout patterns, soften self-criticism, and rehearse new responses so confidence, calm, and follow-through feel more automatic in daily practice.

CBT
Reframe perfectionism, all-or-nothing thinking, and self-criticism; target thought–behavior loops driving overwork, avoidance, and imposter feelings → realistic, workable plans.

DBT skills: Practical micro-skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, sleep, and boundary follow-through; helps with crisis load, shift-to-home transitions, and documentation anxiety.

Interpersonal Therapy (IPT): Navigate role strain, team dynamics, and leadership stress; build scripts for hard conversations while protecting key relationships and addressing grief/loss after adverse outcomes.

Psychodynamic work: Build insight into countertransference and long-standing patterns (rescuer mode, over-functioning, boundary collapse) that show up in practice—creating room for new choices.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): Targeted, time-efficient wins with brief, measurable goals that fit heavy schedules and translate directly to your clinical day.

Integrated Therapies: Designed specifically to meet your needs.
