Founded in 2007, Mosaic Family Counseling Center began as a small, one person agency and has grown every year since. The commitment to our mission in being The Center of Excellence in the Healing of Life's Challenges has directed us in the provision of excellent services, increasing our training and knowledge every year to meet the needs of clients and acquiring new talented therapists who are just as focused on excellent care.

We are a team of Wellness and Mental Health Professionals who believe in the healing power of you. We are a leading agency with expertise in the use of EMDR for many presenting issues. We believe in a holistic approach and know we are each unique in our needs. We help you find your answers.

​We are here to help you address difficulties from performance and test anxiety to traumatic events or chronic mental illness and anything in between. We believe that mental health is a piece of health and all of our systems are involved. We strive to support you as you address any area that affects your health overall. 

Our highly trained staff have expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, families, couples and groups. We work with you to resolve difficulties with substance abuse disorders, relationships, attachment, parent services, traumatic events, complex trauma, emotional intensity, anxiety, depression, somatic presentations, dissociation, LGBTQIA2+ challenges, and so much more. We partner with you to help you experience a higher degree of success and happiness in your life. We are the premium EMDR & STEPPS group provider for those with emotional intensity disorders and have rotating groups.

We have several locations in Iowa; Urbandale, West Des Moines, Indianola, Dallas County Hospital, Marshalltown and the Des Moines Public Schools. We answer the need where it is and are proud to partner with others to deliver excellent services in these areas. We are constantly working to meet identified needs as they arise and often provide services on-site for many helping agencies, working to fulfill our imperative of increasing access to quality mental health to our community.
