I use a blend of evidence-based and compassionate approaches to help clients heal and grow. I am a certified EMDR therapist and often integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address the impact of trauma and distressing experiences. In addition, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy to help clients understand patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior and to develop healthier ways of coping. My approach is grounded in safety, collaboration, and respect—meeting each client where they are and helping them build tools for lasting emotional well-being.
I specialize in treating trauma, adverse experiences, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, interpersonal relationship issues, performance issues and self view.
My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and supportive. I believe healing happens within a safe and trusting relationship where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I combine compassion with practical tools to help you make sense of your experiences and find new ways to cope, heal, and grow. Whether you’re working through trauma, stress, or life transitions, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and help you build balance, self-awareness, and resilience.
Faith, spirituality and values are deeply personal and I believe each person's spiritual life is unique. I have a strong belief that healing through holistic and faith perspectives that honor the client are essential in the development and growth through the human experience. We all have values that shape our spiritual lives—whether they are Energy based, Bible-based, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist or rooted in Culture, Generational Beliefs & Tradition. Honoring these perspectives allows healing to be more authentic, inclusive, and meaningful. I consistently draw on these perspectives with each client.
I provide traditional ongoing therapy sessions that are typically 50–55 minutes in length, these sessions are scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or as often as scheduling allows and is needed.

What makes me unique as a therapist is the combination of my professional training, personal warmth, and deep commitment to helping people heal from trauma and life’s challenges. As a certified EMDR therapist, I use evidence-based methods to support lasting change, while also creating a safe, compassionate space where you can feel genuinely understood. I take time to really listen and to tailor therapy to fit your needs, values, and goals. My approach blends structure with empathy—I want you to feel both supported and empowered as we work together toward healing and growth.
Yes. I often work with clients who are navigating grief, loss, and significant life changes. I provide a compassionate and supportive space to process emotions, find meaning, and begin healing at your own pace. Together, we work to build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and move toward a renewed sense of balance and hope.
I help clients build coping skills and resilience by first understanding their unique strengths, challenges, and experiences. Together, we identify practical strategies—such as grounding, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and cognitive reframing—that can help manage stress and improve daily functioning. I also focus on helping clients develop self-compassion and confidence in their ability to navigate life’s difficulties. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can learn, practice, and strengthen these skills so they become natural tools for maintaining balance and emotional well-being.
Our first session is a chance to begin getting to know each other and to create a foundation of safety and understanding. We’ll start by reviewing the service agreement, informed consent, and other important information about your rights and confidentiality.
After that, we’ll begin a comprehensive assessment to better understand your needs, strengths, and goals. This process helps us clarify what’s been happening in your life and how I can best support you moving forward.
Although the assessment will have some structure, you are welcome to share at your own pace — there’s no rush. The goal of this first meeting is to start building a collaborative partnership focused on your healing and growth.
Yes. I offer EMDR Therapy - eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy - I also provide integrative modalities with EMDR to meet your specific needs.
